This initiative by the citizens of Pleasanton was overwhelming
approved in November 2008. It
protects our scenic ridgelines, vital wildlife habitats and oak forests.
It also closes loopholes in our existing voter-approved housing cap.
Placed on the ballot by over 5,000 citizens.

The current Oak Grove proposal is not subject to PP because it was approved before PP went into effect. If the Oak Grove project is denied, any future application would have comply with PP.
